Living History events held in Nevada City are themed interpretive weekends where each weekend event is based upon happenings in the past of Alder Gulch.

We the undersigned uniting ourselves in a party for the tangible purpose of arresting thieves & murderers & recovering stolen property do pledge ourselves upon our sacred honor… witness the formation of the Montana Vigilantes and gain an understand of the beginning of the Vigilance Committee.
