Living History events held in Nevada City are themed interpretive weekends where each weekend event is based upon happenings in the past of Alder Gulch.
Living History interpreters will bring the past to life!
On June 20, 1863 Deputies Dillingham, Charles Forbes, Hayes Lyons, and Buck Stinson become embroiled in a bitter argument in Virginia City, witness the murder of Dillingham as he steps out of the saloon to be gunned down in a hail of bullets, participate in the trial that follows.
