Living History Weekend: Civil War in Alder Gulch
Living History events held in Nevada City are themed interpretive weekends where each weekend event is based upon happenings in the past of Alder Gulch.

Living History interpreters will bring the past to life!

Explore the wide open Nevada City boomtown, play faro at the Criterion Hall saloon, visit with the people of the past, hear the latest news, share a story in the saloon. Visit the local boarding house and meet the Widow Cavanaugh. Living History Interpreters tell the story of the growth and development of an early Idaho territorial town. Work side-by-side with historic interpreters in scheduled activities; check the schedule at the gate for featured demonstrations.

Nevada City Museum Hours: 9 am - 6 pm
